How do I send music to my phone?
There are two types of real music you can send to your phone:
- Ringtones
- Full Music Tracks (MP3)
Making and Sending Real Music (MP3) Ringtones To Your Phone:
Ringtones are shortened or cut versions of real music that has been converted to MP3 format.
Many phones today have only enough memory to hold several MP3/Real Music Tones that are about 20 seconds in length. They cannot store full music tracks.
Sending Full Music Tracks To Your Phone:
New phones are coming out that have sufficient memory to hold full music tracks. You can load any of your personal music onto your phone, however, it must be in MP3 format. If you have an MP3 you want to send to your phone, you will need to use our "Upload" page.
Log into our web site and click on the Upload link (visible only when logged in) and follow the instructions. If you have your music file on your PC it is a simple matter of locating it. If you are using a portable music device (iPod, etc.), depending on the type of personal music device you own, you may need to transfer some of your personal music from your portable music device to your computer or burn it to a disk as a track.
